WHAT IS SAFE TO DO DURING PREGNANCY AND WHAT'S NOT

Surfing during pregnancy

Is surfing during pregnancy is safe? NO

You need to be cautious about any activity that puts you at risk of losing your balance. Especially if it's not your regular activity that you started before getting pregnant. There are women around the world that do surf during pregnancy, you can find amazing youtube videos of them. But if you want to be on the safe side - it's not recommended by experts we found online. Since this sport also carry the risk of you falling on to your stomach, which could injure your growing baby.

X-rays during pregnancy

Is X-rays is safe during pregnancy? NO. In most cases.

The thing is that healthy mom is more important sometimes so each case should take a different consideration. For example with dental x-rays there is hardly any exposure to any part of the body except the teeth. Yoga during pregnancy

Is Yoga during pregnancy is safe? Yes

There are many reasons why yoga is a good exercise for pregnant woman - like relaxation, calm both body and mind but it's all good as long as you take certain precautions. Here a few recommendations you should adopt: Be sure to tell the instructor you're pregnant, and which trimester you're in. Don't do any asanas (poses) on your back after the first trimester. Avoid poses that stretch the muscles too much. Steer clear of Bikram or "hot" yoga.
